Session

Make your AI work for you

For the AI-curious, stuck on one specific thing

One session. One specific thing your AI isn't doing for you. Unlock that thing.

Who this is for

You’ve subscribed to ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI tool. You’ve seen what it can do for other people. But when you try to use it for the one thing you actually want it to do for you - drafting the right email, organizing your week, generating a specific thing; it doesn’t quite get there the way you really expected. You feel like it’s just easier to go back to doing things the old way.

You’re not doing it wrong. There’s a setup gap between buying it and getting results, and nobody really tells us that part.

What we do in the session

You bring one specific task you wanted your AI to do, where you’re stuck. We work on that one thing together. Usually it’s a setup problem, a context problem, a prompt-shape problem, or a “you bought the wrong tool for this” problem. By the end of 45 minutes, you’ll be unstuck and feeling much better about the tool you’ve already bought and paid for.

What this isn’t

  • It’s not a tutorial. We work on your actual thing, not a generic example.
  • It’s not me selling you a different AI tool. If you bought the right one, we make it work. If you bought the wrong one, I’ll guide you toward some alternatives.
  • It’s not “AI strategy for your business.” That’s a different conversation. There’s another tier for that.

Session

Make your CRM work for your business

For the operator whose customer-tracking is just not quite doing what it promised

Two 45-minute sessions. We look at how you're tracking your customers and figure out what to actually fix.

Who this is for

You have a way of tracking your customers: HubSpot, Pipedrive, Notion, or a Google Sheet you keep meaning to upgrade. And it’s not really working. Things get entered and forgotten. Follow-ups slip. The reports tell you what you already knew or just aren’t that useful. You don’t want to switch tools, you want what you have to start earning its keep.

What we do across the two sessions

First session, you walk me through how you actually use it. Not a generic demo, but what you do on a real workday. I will ask a lot of questions. Then we set a time for the follow-up. Second session, I will come back to you with some specific things that will help get you unstuck, and we work on the one thing that will give you the best immediate relief.

What this isn’t

  • Not me selling you a different CRM. If yours genuinely can’t do what you need, I’ll say so. But most of the time, the tool isn’t the problem.
  • Not a generic walkthrough. We work on your actual setup, your actual customers, your actual operation.
  • Not a full system rebuild. This is about making what you already have, work for your needs. If your whole system really is a problem, you probably already know that. That’s a different conversation.

Automation

Automate one thing

For the operator with one repetitive or inefficient task that keeps eating the day

I build one automation for one job you're tired of doing by hand.

Who this is for

There’s a task you do every week that a machine should be doing. Chasing down receipts. Copying the same numbers from one place into another. Turning the same raw thing into the same finished thing, over and over. You’ve thought “there has to be a way to automate this,” and there is. Wiring it up yourself is just something you don’t have time for.

What I do

You tell me what it is. I build the automation that does it, set up on your own tools so it’s yours and you can watch it working. I get it running, and I keep an eye on it for a few weeks while we shake out the rough edges on your real work, not a test case.

What this isn’t

  • Not a course or a template you set up yourself. I build the actual thing, on your accounts, and hand you something that saves you real time.

Partnership

The busywork runs itself, you run the business.

For the operator whose weeks keep filling with work a machine should be doing

Your best ops hire, one you own, that never quits. We start with the job that's costing you the most time and build out from there.

Who this is for

You’ve run your operation for years. The tools changed, the team changed, but the way you work is yours. The problem isn’t that you’re missing a tool. It’s that what you’ve got is a pile of subscriptions nobody designed to work together, and holding it all in your head is the real cost. You don’t want another consultant or another template. You want the actual system, built to fit you, and someone who stays to run it with you.

What we do together

We start with your biggest pain point, and build out from there. I learn how you really work, in real conversations over weeks, not workshops. Then I build the parts of your operation that should run themselves, so the repetitive work leaves your plate and what’s left is the work that’s actually yours. As your business changes, we change the system with it. It’s built for your operation specifically, not a generic one it’s guessing at, and you stay in control.

What this isn’t

  • A consultant hands you a plan and leaves. I build the working system and stay to run it with you.
  • A template or a course is a thing you install and maintain on your own. This one gets built with you, and it’s yours.

How it works

An ongoing engagement that starts with a 60-minute conversation to see if it’s a good fit. The first stretch is design and build over a few months, in conversations, not workshops. After that, we keep going: I stay close as your operation grows.

Behind QuietOps

Boon Shin Ng

I've spent 25+ years building operations behind the scenes. I have worked at large corporations like Netflix and HP, building tools and streamlining complex business operations for large teams. But my favorite work has been at the intersection of technology, film, and TV, where I specialized in taking complex and varied production workflows, and making them as efficient as possible. This work took me all over the world, but now Los Angeles is my home.

I've always been both kinds of person: the one running the operation and the one designing how it runs. Operator and architect - both, by necessity. QuietOps is the system I built to do this work now: agents where they belong, and your hand on the parts that matter.

The goal of all this isn't more of my time in your business. It's your business running without me having to be there to keep it running. Each round of work makes the system a little more autonomous, a little more yours, a little less dependent on me. That's the target.

The name is inspired by Michelin-star kitchens. The ones where the room is quiet not because nothing is happening, but because everybody knows exactly what's needed and the handoffs are seamless. The "Quiet" isn't absence of activity. It's the quality of an excellent operation. That's the target state for your business: the work humming because everything actually works.

FAQs

What happens after you build it?

For the first 3 months, I stay on it and make sure it keeps working the way it should on your real work, at no extra charge. That's the shakeout period, where the odd edge case or rough spot gets sorted.

And after that?

It's there when you need it, not a monthly bill. If something breaks, or you want to change or add to it, the work starts at $150. Think of it like a car: you pay for a service or a new part when it needs one, not a subscription for a car that's running fine.

What if the software it runs on changes?

Sometimes the tools underneath change: an app updates, a login moves, a format shifts, and the automation needs a tune-up to keep running. Same idea, handled when it comes up, starting at $150.
